Terms & Conditions

Plain English, because you shouldn't need a solicitor to understand what £2.99 buys you. These terms apply whenever you use The Revision Arcade, and they form the contract between us if you buy a premium unlock.

Who you're buying from

The Revision Arcade is a trading name of Ross McKechnie, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

Emails are answered by a real person, usually within two working days.

What the site is

The Revision Arcade is a collection of browser games built around real GCSE and IGCSE exam content. Every game is free to play in full — no account, no signup, no time limit. There are no adverts anywhere on the site.

Some games also sell an optional premium unlock: a one-off payment that adds the complete topic list, a much larger question bank, and the spaced-revision system described on the Go Premium page. You never pay to keep playing — only for more content.

Buying a premium unlock

Payments are handled by PayPro Global Inc., our authorised reseller and merchant of record. When you buy, your contract for the payment itself is with PayPro Global, and their terms apply to the transaction alongside these ones. Your card details are handled entirely by PayPro — they never reach our servers, and we never see them.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling: £2.99 for a single game's premium unlock, or £14.99 for Full Arcade Access. PayPro may display and charge the equivalent in your own currency, and may add local sales tax or VAT where the law requires it. The total is always shown before you confirm.

Your order is accepted when payment completes and your unlock code is issued.

How your unlock is delivered

Premium is delivered instantly as an unlock code. It appears on the thank-you page straight after payment and is repeated in the receipt email PayPro sends you. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.

To use it, open the game, choose the unlock option, and enter your code. It works on any device and any browser — just enter the same code again. Keep the receipt email safe: it is your proof of purchase and your copy of the code. If you lose it, email us and we'll find it for you.

If your code hasn't arrived within an hour, check your spam folder first, then email info@revisionarcade.com and we'll sort it.

What your unlock covers

A premium unlock is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the premium content for your own revision, for as long as the site operates.

Your code is for you (or the student you bought it for) and the devices you use. Please don't post it publicly, sell it, or share it around a class or year group. If a code is clearly being distributed or abused, we may disable that code — we'll email you first wherever we can.

The questions, artwork, games and text on this site are our copyright. You're welcome to use them for revision; you may not copy, republish, resell or redistribute them.

Buying if you're under 18

The free games are for everyone, and no purchase is ever needed to use the site fully. If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent, guardian or whoever pays the bill before buying a premium unlock. If a purchase was made on your card without your agreement, email us and we'll refund it.

Using the site fairly

Don't try to break into the site, extract the premium question bank, interfere with other people's use of it, or use it for anything unlawful. That's the whole list.

What we don't promise

Every question is written and checked by a practising teacher against real exam board specifications, and we work hard to keep it accurate. Even so:

If something goes wrong

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the site or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid us. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam performance.

Your legal rights if the content is faulty or not as described are set out in the Refund Policy, along with our own, more generous, 14-day refund promise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — to reflect new features, or changes in the law. The version published here on the day you buy is the one that applies to your purchase, and the "last updated" date at the top always tells you when this page last changed.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

If you're unhappy about anything, email info@revisionarcade.com first — almost everything is fixable in one message.
